Basic Modeling Concepts

Modeling:

A way to show or explain something in a different way, usually it is easier to understand than the real thing.-representation of a real things work

Data Model:

A simple representation usually graphical, of complex data structures.

The Conceptual Model:

• Conceptual comes from the word "concept" which means an idea or theory.
• Conceptual models are diagrams that show the basic structure of our database, usually in a visual form.
