The Database Model

A database model is used to represent the data structure and its relationships in a database, They are grouped into two categories.

• Conceptual model

  The conceptual model focuses on the logic of the database. 

• Implementation model

  The implementation model focuses on how the data will be represented after a conceptual design is done and is ready to be created(Usually electronically)
